Workshop prices and what is included
Prices for each artwork, including tax, are shown on the pricing page and booking form. They include materials, tool rental, and staff support. Please check your selected artworks, quantities, and total before booking.
Shipping fees and dispatch
Shipping within Japan is free. We ship artworks within three days of the workshop. International shipping is charged separately. We provide a quote in person based on the destination country or region, shipping distance, and parcel weight. The typical estimate is JPY 1,500–2,500, payable on the workshop day.
Payment timing and methods
We accept cash and credit cards. Payment is made in person on the workshop day at the venue, whether at the studio or inside the hotel.
Booking and confirmation
Enter the date, time, number of participants, artworks, and contact details in the booking form. Review the details before submitting. After submission, the confirmation screen and confirmation email will show the booking details. If you cannot find the email, check your spam folder and contact us.
Available booking dates
Choose from the dates and times currently available on the booking form. Fully booked and closed sessions cannot be selected.
Workshop date and venue
The workshop is provided at your booked date and time, at the venue shown in the booking confirmation. The usual venue is our studio. Workshops inside Hotel Torifito take place in the second-floor plaza, starting at 14:00 once a day.
Receiving your artwork
The resin needs about 24 hours to cure, so same-day pickup is not possible. Choose studio pickup from the following day or shipping. Artworks made at hotel workshops are shipped. We dispatch artworks within three days of the workshop; arrival time depends on the destination and delivery conditions.
Observers
Observers attend free of charge. However, seats for observers may not be available. Thank you for your understanding.
Cancellation and changes
Cancellation and changes are free until the day before the workshop. Cancellation on the workshop day incurs a charge of 100% of the workshop fee. Please contact us to change or cancel your booking.
Missing, damaged, or other artwork concerns
Please contact us promptly about missing or damaged deliveries or other concerns about your artwork. If it is damaged, keep the artwork, outer box, packing materials, and shipping label, and take photos of the damage and packaging. We will check the delivery status, cause, and carrier compensation terms, then explain the next steps.
